Teach Access Europe: Help map digital accessibility skills and education

What accessibility skills are currently missing in organisations? And how is digital accessibility being taught at universities and in other educational programmes?

These are the questions that the Teach Access Europe initiative is trying to answer through two new European surveys.

Accessible Technology Skills Gap Survey

The first survey is intended for professionals who work with digital accessibility or encounter it in their daily work. It focuses on accessibility skills, recruitment, training, and the readiness of organisations to embed accessibility into their processes. Completing the survey takes about 25 minutes.

Data collection will remain open until 26 October 2026.

Accessibility Education Consultation

The second survey is intended for educators, trainers, and other professionals who teach digital accessibility or include it in their educational activities. It explores how accessibility is currently taught, what challenges educators face, and what support could help them teach accessibility more effectively. Completing the survey takes about 10 minutes.

Data collection will remain open until 26 October 2026.

Why participate?

The results of both surveys will help identify skills gaps, improve accessibility education, and support the further development of digital accessibility across Europe. If you belong to one of the target groups, we would appreciate a few minutes of your time to take part.

Thank you for helping map the current state and future needs of digital accessibility.
